Millington Regional Jetport, located only 16 miles north of Memphis, Tennessee, has virtually no delays, less congestion, and an 8,000 foot runway. Millington is general aviation’s best alternative to the Memphis International Airport. The Jetport has a full service fixed base operator, aircraft rescue and firefighting services, AWOS, ILS, and tower operations. The Millington Airport Authority is currently inviting private aircraft owners and corporate aircraft operators to relocate to the Millington Regional Jetport to come grow with us. We have newly constructed hangar vacancies, buildings, and plots available to lease for construction. For more information, please contact the Airport Executive Director, Tracy Williams at (901) 873-5792 or twilliams@cityofmillington.org.
Memphis International Airport is only 29 miles across town and is the number one cargo airport in the world for the past nine years. Memphis International serves a duel role as a cargo and passenger airport. The airport's vision is to be recognized as a “world class” aviation center. The mission is to be an aviation leader which goes above and beyond the expectations of its customers and the citizens of the Mid-South. The next challenge is to transform "America’s Distribution Center" into "America’s Aerotropolis". One of the roles that the Millington Regional Jetport plays in America's Aerotropolis is being FedEx's reliever airport. |
